Call for research workshop participants
Date: October 2nd 2025
XLIX Encontro da ANPAD - Universidade Tiradentes – UNIT, Aracaju
Abstract submission deadline: 7th September 2025
The Journal of Supply Chain Management is pleased to hold a Paper Development Program during the XLIX Enanpad, to be held in Aracaju, SE.
This Paper Development Program (PDW) is designed to support researchers in advancing their working papers toward submission to leading international journals. Supply chain research in Brazil and across Latin America faces unique challenges, such as structural constraints, institutional voids, and pressing social and environmental issues that demand innovative and context-sensitive approaches. At the same time, the region offers rich opportunities for advancing impactful research in areas such as agrifood supply chains, the role of local communities, demographic diversity, and the dynamics of social and economic inequalities. This program offers a collaborative environment where participants will receive constructive feedback from experienced scholars, engage in critical discussions, and refine their manuscripts to meet the standards of high-impact international publications. By the end of the workshop, participants should be equipped with the knowledge of how to conduct SCM research in the Latin America region to push the boundaries of our field, using either qualitative or quantitative methods to create, test, or advance theories, offer new interpretations, or challenge what we already think about SCM phenomena.
The workshop is organized by JSCM’s Regional Editors for Latin America: Ely Laureano Paiva and Priscila L. S. Miguel (Fundação Getúlio Vargas), with the assistance of Prof. Susana Pereira, Scientific Director of ANPAD (Associação Nacional de Pós Graduação em Administração – Brazilian Academy of Management).
