André Mendes de Carvalho is Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (Barcelos, Portugal) and researcher at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (2Ai). His research interests focus on Operational Excellence as a means for companies to better adapt to the world around them, serving each of us and society at large. He currently develops different projects focused on the digital transformation, the green transition, and on topics related to the Agility and Resilience of organizations. He holds a Master (2012) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Minho, and a PhD (2020) from the same university, under the MIT Portugal program. He was supervised by Paulo Sampaio (University of Minho) and Eric Rebentisch (MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States). Between January and December 2020 he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark.
Andrew graduated from UQ's Commerce program in 1998. He is MISQ Editor-in-Chief. He has a particular interest in IT governance and control, IT development, and IT strategy. He undertakes research in three areas. His first area focuses on how effectively organizations use IT. His second research area focused on improving methods to analyze and design IT systems. His third research stream focuses on improving theories and methods used by researchers in the Information Systems discipline. He recently completed a term as Representative for the Americas for the Association of Information Systems and commenced a term as International Representative for the Academy of Management (OCIS Division).

David Arellano-Gault is professor at the Department of Public Administration at CIDE, Mexico City. He earned a Ph.D. in Public Administration, University of Colorado. His general research work deals with the introduction of the organizational analysis in diverse public administration and policy issues. His more recent book was published by Routledge in 2020 with the title: Corruption in Latin America. He has served as Coeditor of the journal Organization Studies and serves in different editorial committees in journals like American Public Administration Review or Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.
David Baniyelme Zoogah is an Associate Professor of Management at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, Ontario, Canada. Zoogah is a founding executive of the Africa Academy of Management (AFAM), an affiliate of the Academy of Management. His published research focuses on green management, strategic human resources management, and has authored two books on strategic followership titled “Strategic Followership: How Employees Contribute to Organizational Productivity” and “Theoretical Perspectives of Strategic Followership”. He holds a PhD from the Ohio State University.
Donald Moynihan is the inaugural McCourt Chair at the McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University. His research seeks to improve how government works. At the McCourt School, he co-directs the Better Government Lab. Moynihan has presented his research to policymakers at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, the World Bank, the World Health Organization, OECD, the Government Accountability Office, as well as governments all around the world. His writing and research has been cited in President Obama’s budget proposal, OMB policy guidance under President Biden, and various media.
Elena Antonacopoulou is Professor of Organizational Behaviour & Strategy at Ivey Business School. She held full-time faculty professorial appointments at the Universities of Liverpool, Manchester, and Warwick in the UK. She has won many research grants and awards for the impact of the ideas developed. Her principal research expertise lies in the areas of Organisational Learning, Strategic Change, and Resilience, Knowledge, and Crisis Management. Elena’s work is published widely in Top international journals, including Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal and Management Learning. She has been elected and served in multiple leadership roles in the top professional bodies in the management field, including AOM, EGOS, EURAM, BAM, and SAMS.
Fahreen Alamgir is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at the Monash Business School of Melbourne Australia. She researches areas focuses on poverty, governance and issues of gender. Her current research focuses on global value chain and employment relations focusing on Bangladeshi apparel industry. She received a couple of competitive research grants for researching employment conditions and challenges faced by women workers of ready-made garment factories. She is a Coordinator of the Governance and Regulation Research Network (Garnet), an interdisciplinary network located in the Centre for Global Business, Monash Business School.

Jeremy Hall is the Director of the Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex Business School (SPRU), and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Engineering and Technology Management. Jeremy’s research and teaching interests include the social impacts and unanticipated outcomes of innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainable supply chains, social inclusion, strategies for sustainable development innovation and responsible management. A major stream of his research is focused on innovation and entrepreneurship for social inclusion in Brazil. Johan Christensen is an Assistant Professor at Leiden University, at the Institute of Public Administration. His research focuses on the role of experts and expertise in public policy-making, both at the national and European levels. His first book “The Power of Economists within the State” is published by Stanford University Press in 2017. Christensen received his PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence in 2013. Christensen is currently teaching courses on international public administration. He is also a co-director of the project “EUREX: Expertization of public inquiry commissions in a Europeanized administrative order” based at the University of Oslo.

Karen Seto is the Frederick C. Hixon Professor of Geography and Urbanization Science at the Yale School of the Environment. She is an urban and land change scientist whose central research focus is how urbanization will affect the planet. Professor Seto is one of the world's leading experts on contemporary urbanization and global change. She is co-leading the urban mitigation chapter for the IPCC 6th Assessment Report and co-lead the same chapter for the IPCC 5th Assessment Report. She is co-editor-in-chief of the journal, Global Environmental Change. Michelle Morais de Sa e Silva is an assistant professor in International and Area Studies in the Department of International and Area Studies. She is also Co-Director of the Center for Brazil Studies at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Morais received her PhD from Columbia University and her MA from the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, The Netherlands. In 2015, she did a year of postdoctoral research at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Dr. Morais is the author of the book Poverty Reduction, Education, and the Global Diffusion of Conditional Cash Transfers (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017).
Paavo Ritala is a Professor of Strategy and Innovation at LUT School of Business and Management (LBM). His main research themes include ecosystems and platforms, the role of data and digital technologies in organizations, collaborative innovation, sustainable business models, and circular economy. He is closely involved with business practice through research projects, executive and professional education programs, and in speaker and advisory roles. Prof. Paulo Artaxo received his degree in Physics, a master's degree in Nuclear Physics and a doctorate in Atmospheric Physics from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He is currently a professor at the Department of Applied Physics at the Institute of Physics at USP. He works with physics applied to environmental problems, working mainly on issues of global climate change, Amazon environment, physics of atmospheric aerosols, urban air pollution and other topics. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC), of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and of the Academy of Sciences of the State of São Paulo (ACIESP). He is a member of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) and of several other international scientific panels. He is the coordinator of the FAPESP Global Climate Change Program, and a member of the INCT Climatic Changes. He is vice-president of SBPC and ACIESP, and member of the SBF Council.

Rolf Alter is an experienced economist and Senior Fellow at the Hertie School of Governance, in Berlin. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report. He spent over 25 years at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. Dr. Alter built a team of over 200 staff to support governments in improving their public sector performance for inclusive growth and economic competitiveness. He holds a doctorate from the University of Göttingen. In 2013, he received a doctorate (honoris causa) from the National University of Hungary. In 2016, he was awarded the Onkar Prasad Dwivedi Award by the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration for his outstanding contribution to public administration and policy.
Saleem H. Ali was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts but grew up in Lahore, Pakistan until his college years, receiving his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Tufts University, and his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in environmental policy and planning at Yale and MIT, respectively. He currently holds the Blue and Gold Distinguished Professorship in Geography and Spatial Sciences at the University of Delaware (USA) and is Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland (Australia). She is also a Senior Fellow at the Program on Corporate Governance at Harvard Law School, a Research Associate of the NBER (Law and Economics, and Corporate Finance) and a member of the Committee on Capital Market Regulation. She is currently the President of the Society of Financial Studies (SFS). Professor Jiang's main research interests lie in corporate governance, institutional investors, technology and financial markets. Professor Jiang graduated from Fudan University (China) with B.A. and M.A. in economics. She received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago in 2001.
