Danielis an Assistant Professor at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. He received his PhD from Florida International University in 2021. His research focuses on global strategy and the interplay between how firms are influenced by and actively influence their institutional and competitive environments. He often adopts an interdisciplinary approach, and his articles appear in outlets such as the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of World Business, and Journal of Management Studies. His scholarly work has resulted in several awards, including being both a winner and a two-time nominee for the Alan M. Rugman Junior Scholar Award from the Academy of International Business (AIB), Academy of Management International Management Division Emerging Scholar, as well as multiple best paper awards and nominations at the Strategic Management Society and European International Business Academy annual conferences. Daniel currently serves as the Reviewing Editor for the Journal of World Business and as a member of several editorial boards. He organizes the JIBS Paper Development Workshop at AIB annually.
